I was excited to receive pics from one of my Midwest Arts & Lettering Retreat students - Bonnie Seifert. These are her first and second Zendalas. I especially love the three dimensional looking Btl Joos twisting under another 3-D looking Zander. There is so much crazy, wonderful stuff going on in there... it's like a petri dish of tangles!

Update, Oct. 24, 2012:
Bonnie sent me - not only larger images of the first two zendalas, but two more zendalas for us to drool over. Yeah, Bonnie! (Thanks!)

Sandy, is there a way for the photos to be enlarged when you click on them? I love to be able to study larger versions of the tangles so that I can learn from them! Have no idea what the technical intricacies of that question are, sorry if it opened a can of worms!

I was hoping for the same thing as Jakki. I would love to be able to see a larger version of Bonnie's work. These are amazing!
ReplyDeleteSandy, I absolutely love your "petri dish of tangles" simile! Very clever and I totally agree! Every time we tangle we are experimenting.
ReplyDeleteThese Zendalas are beautiful. Thank you, Bonnie, for sending them to Sandy, and thank you, Sandy for posting them!
Wow, these are great.
