I would really LOVE to get my books into more independent bookstores. It is part of my evil plan - to dominate the shelves. Hee hee hee. But I need your help. I kind of... well, I SUCK, at personal PR. I noticed that one of the popular paper crafts magazines has a program where readers can request that their local stores carry the magazine. If the store mentions that reader's name when they order, the reader gets a free subscription or some such. I am very open to this sort of help from you all. I know many small stores don't like to have to buy a ton of books, so I will be listing the books in quantities of 5 (instead of ten). Please let me know your ideas about how I can get these books "out there". Thanks!
Yay!! Another delightful book for my Zentangle library. Thanks, Sandy!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I got mine and it is awesome and I love the size, just right to tuck inside my purse so I can pull it out when I am stuck somewhere. I love that you label all the patterns. I wish everybody did!! Now I have all your books. Guess you will have to get busy and do another one!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to find out how to become a CZT so that I can teach in some local shops and bring the joy of zentangle to those foks in Oregon, most of which haven't heard of this art style. I also made acquaintance with a local shop owner, who wants me to build some "kits" and teach some classes on less than traditional scrapbooking and cardmaking techniques.
ReplyDeleteHi Echo M - just go to www.zentangle.com and click on the "Learn" button (I think that's the right one?) there should be info on the CZT Training workshops. The next one is in October, but it is full. There will be three or four more next year, probably Feb, May, Summer, Fall. Sign up for the ZT Newsletter and you will get all their info plus new tangles and other cool stuff. :-)
